I have to agree with the Camano Island couple who chastised The Herald for weakening news and editing standards. Daily there are glaring errors in grammar and spelling which make me wonder who does the proofreading.
I cut out a few examples to put in an envelope to send. However, the envelope grew into a folder too large to mail! And one time I called the reporter who wrote an article to get more information and also comment on a grammatical error. She just shrugged it off. This issue needs to be more important to the Herald staff than it is to its readers!
