Bizzaro world doesn’t add up

Nice job, Tea Party. You took a routine transaction and using brinksmanship made the whole world lose confidence in the American government’s ability to govern sensibly.

The downgrade of our credit is only the beginning of the damage. It’s like a 5-year-old grabbing the wheel of a moving car insisting they can drive. The car is swerving around out of control, and if these idiots keep getting elected, the car is going to crash and lots and lots of people will get hurt.

You do not improve an economy by increasing unemployment, which is exactly what they just accomplished. The debt is not the problem, high unemployment is. Cutting jobs is not the solution, creating them is.
