EVERETT — Three people were arrested Tuesday night in connection with an Everett-area purse-snatching.
The victim, an Everett woman, 69, was getting out of her car around 8:30 p.m. at her home along 31st Drive SE, according to a police affidavit. A man walked up behind her and grabbed her shoulder bag.
The man then ran to a waiting car and took off. The woman was uninjured.
The woman canceled one of her credit cards before police arrived, but the robbers already had tried to use it at a convenience store in Mukilteo.
Investigators quickly arrived at the store and found four people who the believe were involved in the crime.
Three of them, all men, were booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree robbery. A fourth suspect, a woman, also is being investigated.
