Charges recommended for four in string of Marysville burglaries

MARYSVILLE -- An 11-month Marysville police investigation into a series of burglaries and thefts has been forwarded to Snohomish County prosecutors for review.

Marysville detectives identified four suspects and recommend 48 felony charges.

The offenses include burglary, trafficking in stolen property, identity theft and mail theft.

Investigators originally identified two suspects, a man and woman, who were linked to a residential burglary in Marysville.

A second burglary in Seattle included the theft of a computer that was equipped with a theft-tracking device.

Investigators were able to obtain tracking information from the computer, which they forwarded to other police jurisdictions, including Marysville police.

A fifth suspect, an Everett woman, 23, was arrested and convicted for her role in the case.

She was sentenced to five years in prison and faces federal charges, which could result in another five-year sentence.

The suspects include two Marysville men, ages 26 and 33, and a Marysville woman, 28. The other suspect, 33, is a Lake Stevens woman.
