    Cilantro turkey burgers

What you need: (Makes 12 little sandwiches)
12 little sandwich buns
1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 tsp butter
Cheese slices
Cream ranch sauce
Fresh cilantro
Some red onion rings

For the patty:
2 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp finely chopped spicy hot green chilies
1/4 cup finely diced red onion
1 egg
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Salt to taste

In a bowl, mix all the patty ingredients together, chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Divide them into 12 patties.

Warm up a skillet on medium heat, add in the butter; toast the inside of the sandwiches to a golden brown. Set them aside on a plate. In the same pan, cook the patties.

Coat them with bread crumbs on both sides, and on medium heat, let them brown to about 4 minutes on each side.

While these are cooking, sprinkle in the red onions and let them caramelize a bit in the skillet.

Arrange the burgers anyway you like, and poke a toothpick to hold them all together. Serve hot, enjoy!
