EVERETT — Celebrate Earth Day on Friday at the Snohomish County PUD and discover ways to help the environment. Learn what the PUD is doing in the areas of renewable energy, conservation and environmental stewardship. The event will feature:

• A light bulb exchange. Turn in your incandescent bulbs for free compact fluorescent light bulbs and LEDs;

• Plant sales from North Middle School and Lake Stevens High School;

• Free E-kits, featuring an assortment of energy-saving items;

• PUD experts to help you explore solar energy for your home or business;

• Displays and booths on lighting, renewable energy Informational booths about PUD programs and services;

• Short demonstrations, kids’ activities and more.
