EVERETT — Silver Lake is going to be hopping Saturday.
Two events are planned for Thronton A. Sullivan Park, 11405 W. Silver Lake Road.
A Kids Fish-In is scheduled from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Experts plan to teach children ages 5 to 14 during eight instruction sessions.
Organizers may bring a limited amount of equipment. Bring your own fishing gear if you have it. The registration fee is $7.
An annual Boat Expo is set from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Try boarding a boat, go for a float and learn about the boating clubs and classes offered in Everett.
From youth to seniors, there’s a watercraft activity for everyone: rowboats, sailboats, kayaks, canoes, hydroplanes and outrigger canoes.
The expo is free — except if you want to ride in a kayak. That costs $10.
