Rain garden training: Two-day workshop for landscape designers, installers and maintenance technicians from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 4 and 5 at Snohomish WSU Extension, Cougar Auditorium 600 128th St. SE, Everett. The class will cover site selection, soils, local regulations, designs, plant selection and more. Cost is $100 and includes lunch and refreshments, a handbook and information on local regulations. Snohomish Conservation District plant sale: Annual sale of evergreen and deciduous trees and shrubs, plants and ground covers is March 2 at Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. Northwest Flower &Garden Show: Online tickets for the Feb. 20 to 24 show at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle are for sale at www.gardenshow.com.
