Celebrity chef Giada de Laurentiis is serving a few stories for kids.
The first book in the children’s series “Recipe for Adventure” comes out Sept. 3. Designed for ages 7 to 10, the series will feature siblings Alfie and Emilia as they travel to great food cities around the world.
De Laurentiis, 42, hosts “Giada at Home” on the Food Network and appears frequently on NBC’s “Today” show. Her previous books include the best-sellers “Giada at Home” and “Weeknights With Giada.”
The mother of 5-year-old Jade, de Laurentiis is married to Todd Thompson, a fashion designer for Anthropologie. She is the granddaughter of Italian film producer Dino DeLaurentiis.
