This is the kind of show that looks dangerous.
Cirque Zuma Zuma, which will be presented Sunday at Comcast Arena, involves acrobats leaping between tall poles, contortionists, flexible performers doing handstands on high human pyramids and stacked chairs 20 feet high.
These are not special effects or avatars. This is real-time amazing stuff.
Cirque Zuma Zuma is sometimes referred to as Cirque du Soleil done in African style, blending mysticism and a little magic with nonstop action, according to a press release.
The action includes Zulu dancers, comedians, contortionists and percussionists, with a live musical score and singers.
Women balance and spin tables and jars with their feet.
Associated with the esteemed Bomas of Kenya, the African Acrobats International Academy upholds more than 2,500 years of tradition. The company produces more than 150 shows each year, according to press material
