BOTHELL — A $1 million Powerball prize for a ticket sold here has gone unclaimed since last weekend’s drawing.
That’s not the only lottery winning waiting to be picked up in these parts. There’s also $3.3 million lingering since March 25 for a Lotto ticket sold in the Lynnwood area.
“There are two millionaires out there and we’d like to find out who they are,” said Arlen Harris, a spokesman for Washington’s Lottery.
The Bothell-area Powerball ticket gets a second-tier prize because it matched five correct numbers, but not the Powerball digits. The winning combination is 10-13-14-22-52, Powerball 11. The winner can claim the prize at the state Lottery’s Everett office at 11419 19th Ave. SE, suite A106.
The same May 18 Powerball drawing awarded nearly $600 million to a ticket sold in Florida, which matched the Powerball number as well as the other digits.
Winners have 180 days to claim prizes. That means the holder of the million-dollar Powerball ticket has until Nov. 14.
The combination of the multimillion-dollar Lynnwood Lotto ticket is 03-08-12-17-25-30. The deadline to collect that purse is Sept. 21.
The exact locations where winning tickets were sold have not been released, Harris said.
If a prize goes unclaimed, a third of it would go to a Washington state reserve account for promoting economic development. The remainder would be used for future lottery prizes.
