EVERETT — An Everett man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Saturday night after being thrown from his motorcycle.
An update of the man’s condition was not immediately available.
The accident happened just before 10 p.m. on State Route 204 near the east end of the U.S. 2 trestle, according to the Washington State Patrol. The motorcyclist was westbound when he attempted to pass a car. He hit a median near Sunnyside Boulevard. The man, 27, was unable to gain control of the bike and ended up hitting a guardrail, troopers said.
He was ejected from his motorcycle.
The west end of State Route 204 was shut down for more than two hours while troopers investigated the crash.
