OTHELLO — A woman accused of inappropriately touching a fifth-grade boy when she taught at an Othello elementary school pleaded not guilty Monday to a charge of child molestation.
KHQ reports the judge allowed Lisa Davis to remain free until her trial, which is set for Oct. 15. She was ordered to have no contact with the boy and to stay away from school.
Davis resigned after she was charged. She had been a teacher for 14 years and taught at Scootney Elementary School.
Prosecutors say the 48-year-old molested the 10-year-old in a classroom and at the home of a friend.
