SNOHOMISH — The Oak Harbor offense used a dominate ground attack to power their way to 519 yards of total offense, most of which came from fullback Dejon Devroe and senior running back Julian Faralan as the Wildcats defeated the Snohomish Panthers 38-20 in a Wesco 4A/3A crossover game played at Snohomish Veterans Memorial Stadium on Friday night.
Devroe ran for 215 yards on 26 carries with two touchdowns. The most notable of the two touchdowns came in the opening play of the fourth quarter when he ran for a 91-yard touchdown that put the game out of reach and secured the victory for Oak Harbor.
Faralan complimented Devroe’s performance on the night, rushing for 121 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown.
Oak Harbor led the entire way with the Panthers failing on two of their three two-point conversion attempts.
