MONROE — Police here are investigating a possible abduction attempt Monday involving a 16-year-old girl while she was walking home from school.
The teen told investigators that a man grabbed her arm about 3:30 p.m. in the 16900 block of Tester Road in Monroe.
The man told her “Come with me,” Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
The girl was able to free herself and ran home to call police.
She described the man as white, about 20 years old and about 6 feet tall. He appeared about 210 pounds and was described as having “shaggy” brown hair. He was wearing jeans and a V-neck shirt with white writing.
