We have been treated to an exceptionally beautiful autumn. We asked you to share your best photos with us, and you delivered spectacularly. We collected some of our favorites and then held an online contest. These four photos were the winners.
To see all of the contest photos, see our photo gallery. If you’d like to share your own photos with us, we always love to see them. Go to our reader photos.
Steve Lightle of Lake Stevens took this photo at Cedar Creek grist mill near Woodland. “This is a location I have visited several times to photograph the Grist Mill. On this particular day I found the fog, fallen leaves and the creek itself more interesting,” Lightle said.
Lynda Laughlin of Marysville took this photo of the North Fork Stillaguamish River from Arlington/Darrington Road just east of Oso in October. Laughlin said the fall colors were stunning this year. And, although the fog was tiresome, it did add its own uniqueness to the photo.
Kelly Cole of Mukilteo took this photo of sunset over Silver Lake from Emory’s, “a place where the view is always spectacular and never gets old,” Cole said.
