SPOKANE VALLEY — Authorities say they evacuated Friday night moviegoers after an armed robbery at a mall arcade in Spokane Valley.
Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Chamberlin said Saturday an arcade employee was closing the business around 10 p.m. when the robbery occurred. Deputies evacuated the movie theater for safety reasons, but they have not located the suspect.
The arcade worker said the suspect had pointed a rifle or shotgun at his chest during the robbery. The suspect was wearing a white bandana over his face. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
