Tuesday

The creepy vibes just keep on coming from “The Originals.” Klaus (Joseph Morgan) makes a grisly discovery in the Cauldron, and asks Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) for some help. 8 p.m., The CW.

Wednesday

“Hawking” chronicles the remarkable life and career of British physicist Stephen Hawking. With contributions from the man himself, it basically shows why he’s so much smarter than us. 10 p.m., PBS.

Thursday

On “Parks and Recreation,” Ann and Chris spend their last night in Pawnee at a farewell party thrown by Leslie (Amy Poehler), who is very determined to fulfill a certain promise before they go. 8:30 p.m., NBC.

“The Sixties: The British Invasion” is a rousing documentary that recalls an era when the Beatles, followed by other British bands, conquered the hearts of American teens. The film explores how these young artists blazed a culture-changing trail. 9 p.m., CNN.

Friday

“Barrymore,” the latest installment of “Great Performances,” has Christopher Plummer re-creating his Tony award-winning portrayal of John Barrymore during the final months of his life as he rehearses for a revival of “Richard III.” 9 p.m., PBS.

Saturday

Get ready to crack up. Funny lady Melissa McCarthy returns to host “Saturday Night Live” for the third time. 11:30 p.m., NBC.
