Machinists Union Local 751-C members raised more than $12,000 for charity at the third “All In for Guide Dogs Hold ‘Em Tournament” on Feb. 15 at the Tulalip Resort Casino. This year’s tournament drew 125 players. All proceeds go to Guide Dogs of America. Last year, District 751 volunteers raised a record $384,000 for Guide Dogs of America.

Parkview Services in Shoreline was recently awarded a grant from the Boeing Employees Community Fund in the amount of $40,000, to be used for replacing failing roofs and gutters on five properties in their Affordable Housing Program. Boeing Employees Community Fund has been a longtime contributor to The Parkview Affordable Housing Program.

Boeing Employees Community Fund recently awarded the Boys &Girls Clubs of Snohomish County $40,000 to provide vans for the South Everett/Mukilteo and Everett Clubs. This grant will allow the two clubs to increase the number of van pick-ups they make per day, increasing the number of youth they can serve.
