DETROIT — Detroit Tigers relief pitcher Blaine Hardy made his major-league debut against the Kansas City Royals on Monday.
Hardy, 27, is a graduate of Edmonds-Woodway High School.
He entered in the seventh inning and tossed two scoreless frames, allowing one hit, walking two and striking out two.
The Royals beat the Tigers 11-8.
