Need a drink? Here’s where to get one this week

The Seattle International Beerfest is a three-day beer festival from Aug. 22-24 at Seattle Center Fisher Pavilion specializing in rare, hard-to-find, exotic beers. Over 200 world-class beers from 16 countries will be on hand, hailing from all over the planet, many from right here in the Pacific NW. There will be live music and food options. The festival runs noon to 10 p.m. Aug. 22-23 and noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 24. Tickets are $30 and include an official SIB glass and 10 beer tokens. For more information, visit www.seattlebeerfest.com.

The Tumwater Artesian Brewfest is Saturday from 1-8 p.m. at the Tumwater Valley Driving Range (4611 Tumwater Valley Dr., SE, Tumwater). There will be nearly 30 breweries, cideries and wineries on hand, with most coming from the South Sound region. A pair of Oregon breweries are also coming in Portland’s Base Camp Brewing and Pelican Brewing, which is on the coast. Tickets are $25 at the gate and includes a tasting mug and five tokens. There is a military discount of $5 and a $10 entry fee for designated drivers.

The No-Li 12: Small Batch Beer Fest is Saturday from noon-4 p.m. and will feature 12 rare beers on tap at the No-Li Brewery tap room in Spokane, including barrel-aged, experimental, and infused beers. There will be live music and a festival menu. Tickets are $27 and include a commemorative tasting glass and twelve 4-ounce samples of the festival beers. Here’s the festival lineup (prepare to salivate): Fresh-Dry-Hopped Dry Fly Triticale Whiskey Barrel Aged Born &Raised IPA; Micro-Barrel Aged Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout; Dry Fly Wheat Whiskey Barrel Aged Jet Star Imperial IPA; Cask-Conditioned Barrel-Aged Born &Raised IPA; Randallized Dry Fly Wheat Whiskey Barrel-Aged Jet Star Imperial IPA; Oak-Aged Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout; Townsend Cellars Barrel-Aged Aksel; Cranberry &Chocolate Infused Oatmeal Milk Stout; Dry-Hopped Winter Warmer; 8-Month Whiskey Barrel-Aged Jet Star; Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Bean Infused Rise &Grind; “Blackfill”: Triticale Whiskey Barrel Aged Wrecking Ball Imperial Stout.

The Summer Stroll Wine &Spirit Walk is Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Country Village in Bothell (23718 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell). Gather with friends and enjoy the best wines and spirits in the region, including 10 local wineries and select distilleries. Purchase tickets online for $20 here or buy them at Quite the Find in Country Village. You can purchase at the door for $25. Remember this is a Bring Your Own Glass event.

Snohomish’s Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse (1114 First Street, Snohomish) is hosting a Scotch Tasting on Monday at 6 p.m. This will be a chance for novices to learn about Scotch as well as taste a number of good beverages. The standard flight is $18 and includes Glenfarclas 10-year-old, Strathisla 12-year-old and Balblair 10-year-old. The premium flight is $29 and includes Hazelburn Cask 8-year-old, Tobermory 15-year-old and Tomatin 18-year-old.
