Witnesses sought in car-bus collision south of Everett

EVERETT — The Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses to an injury collision involving a car and school bus last week in the 13300 block of Highway 99 between Lynnwood and Everett.

The accident occurred around 3:10 p.m. Sept. 8.

A driver of the car was making a left turn from northbound Highway 99 across stopped southbound traffic towards a business driveway. It was struck by an Edmonds School District bus being driven on the southbound shoulder. No children were on board.

The collision sent several people to area hospitals.

Detectives are interested in talking to anyone with knowledge of the collision or of any events leading up to it.
