It’s not even Thanksgiving yet and the Sasquatch! Music Festival is already dropping news about 2015. This Friday Sasquatch! will be offering a little Black Friday special of their own by releasing discount passes for $325 which will be available till the end of the year and will go up to $350 when the next round of passes are released.
This is pretty typical of Sasquatch! in recent years. The real news is that the 2015 Sasquatch! Music Festival will be going back to a four day festival, on Memorial Day weekend of course. This comes after attempting to join the festival arms race in 2014 by doing a pair of three day weekends with different lineups. The Memorial Day weekend sold out but only after the second weekend that was set for the 4th of July was canceled due to low ticket sales.
While a four day festival at the Gorge feels like a bit of a marathon, and I fully expect them to try for a multi-weekend festival in the future, for now I am happy to see Sasqautch! come back with what I expect to be one monster, long weekend in 2015.
The full lineup will be announced in February. Until then we have plenty of time to speculate and make our Sasquatch! wish lists.
