SNOHOMISH — The search continued Monday for a fisherman believed missing in Blackmans Lake in Snohomish.
The 38-year-old man was last seen Saturday and was reported missing Sunday, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Crews on Monday were using sonar, high-tech cameras and search dogs in their effort to find him.
Poor visibility at the bottom of the lake was complicating the search, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The man’s blue raft was found partially submerged in the lake on Sunday.
Blackmans Lake, north of downtown Snohomish near the school district headquarters, is about 63 acres in area and averages about 14 feet in depth.
The man’s name was not made public Monday.
