Atheists have killed over beliefs

I agree with the first half of the letter, “Muslims must denounce acts (of terrorism.)” However, I believe the second half of the letter promotes the religion and philosophy of “humanism.” The writer stated: “I have never read an account of agnostic, atheist or humanist slaughter and mass murder in the name of our beliefs.”

I find it hard to believe the writer has never heard of Stalin, who became the leader of Russia after Lenin died. He was a “Marxist atheist” who butchered millions of his own people!
