Prayer breakfast
Megan Alexander, a correspondent on the syndicated TV show, “Inside Edition,” will be the featured speaker at YMCA of Snohomish County’s 55th annual Good Friday Prayer Breakfast. The event is scheduled for 6:45-8:30 a.m. April 3 in the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center at Xfinity Arena, 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett. A Seattle native who attended King’s High School, Alexander has been on “Inside Edition” since 2007. She was recently named a special correspondent for CBS Newspath, a satellite service for CBS News, and has appeared on CBS’ “Thursday Night Football” broadcasts. International carnival in Edmonds: Edmonds Community College students will showcase their talents representing their cultures at an international carnival, 7 p.m. Saturday at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 4th Ave. N, Edmonds.
