SNOHOMISH — A Lynnwood woman died in a two-car crash near Snohomish early Sunday afternoon, officials said.
The accident was reported around 12:20 p.m. at the intersection of 61st Avenue SE and 64th Street SE, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash involved a Ford F350 pickup truck and a Buick Skylark passenger vehicle.
The pickup was traveling southbound on 61st Avenue SE and the Buick was eastbound on 64th Street SE.
The pickup was driven by a Snohomish man, 32. Deputies reported that he had minor injuries.
The Buick was driven by the Lynnwood woman, 59. Her passenger — a 60-year-old Lynnwood man — was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Collision Investigation Unit was examining the scene Sunday afternoon.
