EVERETT — Firefighters put out an electrical fire Sunday evening at a home in the 3900 block of Federal Avenue of Everett.
The first crews arrived at about 6 p.m. and found smoke throughout the house.
Firefighters helped two residents inside the house get out, according to the Everett Fire Department.
They located an electrical fire at the house’s water heater in the basement. It was quickly extinguished.
The house received only light damage. No injuries have been reported.
The Red Cross has been contacted to help the residents find a place to stay.
