The Everett Public Schools Foundation is hosting a free estate planning seminar Wednesday, April 29 in the Everett Public Schools Community Resource Center, 3900 Broadway Ave. The workshop will be led by Paul H. Volunteers needed for resource board: The Island County Board of Commissioners is looking for four volunteers — at least one from Camano Island — on the Water Resources Advisory Committee. The 12-person committee reviews plans and advises the county commission on water issues and salmon habitat restoration. Volunteers serve four-year terms. Get your ham license: The Cascade Radio Club, Everett’s oldest amateur radio club, will be holding a class and exam for those who are interested in earning their Technician Amateur Radio License from the Federal Communication Commission.
The classes will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 10 and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, April 11 in one of the PUD training rooms on the ground floor. Testing will be held on Sunday April 12 in the same room.
