EVERETT — Braden Bishop had two hits and three RBI and three AquaSox pitchers combined to pitch a four-hit shutout as Everett beat the Spokane Indians 5-0 in a Northwest League baseball game on Monday night at Everett Memorial Stadium.
AquaSox shortstop Drew Jackson was 2-for-4, raising his league-leading average to .390. Jackson also scored two runs, including scoring in the first inning on a wild pitch to give Everett a 1-0 lead.
Alex Jackson hit his fifth home run of the season in the second inning to increase the AquaSox lead to 2-0. Bishop hit an RBI-double in the fifth inning and a two-run single in the seventh to give Everett a 5-0 lead.
AquaSox starter Enyel De Los Santos (2-0) picked up the win, pitching five shutout innings. De Los Santos allowed four hits, walked two and struck out six.
Everett’s Joe Pistorese pitched three scoreless innings of relief, walking just one and striking out four. Joselito Cano pitched a scoreless ninth and struck out two.
