Center seeks ideas
Lutheran Community Services Northwest is hosting a listening session at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Arlington Boys &Girls Club, 18513 59th Ave. NE, to gather ideas about problems and possible solutions in Arlington. The nonprofit recently opened its newest family support center at 18308 Smokey Point Blvd. to help connect families with resources like food, shelter and transportation.
Staff and volunteers hope to expand services based on requests in the community. The listening session is open to everyone and the organization is looking for ideas about what could be better in the community and how the resource center can help. For more information, contact Seanna Herring-Jensen at 360-386-7989 or sjensen@lcsnw.org.
