EVERETT — A man suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after being shot at his home south of Everett on Sunday afternoon, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were called to the Bunkhouse Condominiums in the 900 block of 130th Street SE shortly before 3 p.m.
The gunshot victim, who is in his 30s, got into an argument with a roommate who is in his 20s, Sheriff’s Lt. Robert Palmer said in a press release. Detectives believe the argument turned into a physical fight and that the younger man drew a pistol and shot his roommate several times.
A woman who also lives in the unit was not injured and was cooperating with investigators, Palmer said. The wounded man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where word on his condition was not immediately available.
The suspect surrendered to deputies at the scene and is in custody, Palmer said. Major Crimes Unit detectives continued to investigate.
