Bible is not book of fairy tales

The letter, “Misplaced blame is not helpful” contained some thought provoking comments about human suffering.

However, the reference: “Judge ye not lest ye be judged.” as being from a “ book of fairy tales” is somewhat is incorrect. The referenced quote (Matthew 7:1) is from the King James Bible and shouldn’t be confused with a book of fairy tales.

I am not privy to the things which he states he is wrong about, however, I know that he is wrong about this reference from the Holy Bible.

During my university days I was constantly reminded to be sure of my resource if I was utilizing a quote. Perhaps the author may want to give a second look before he chooses to quote incorrect information in print.
