LAKE STEVENS — A Lake Stevens man accused of a stabbing and vehicular assault turned himself in on Tuesday.

The Lake Stevens Police Department Monday issued a public bulletin seeking information on the whereabouts of Alexander T. Lamoureux, 19. His attorney made arrangements for Lamoureux to surrender to authorities on Tuesday evening.

Lamoureux was wanted in connection with an incident reported Friday afternoon along 102nd Drive SE. A 17-year-old was struck by a car driven by Lamoureux, then a confrontation broke out and the 17-year-old was stabbed multiple times, according to a news release. It happened just after 1 p.m.

The victim is expected to survive.

A teen girl who was in Lamoureux’s car surrendered a short time later and was booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center, police reported.

Lamoureux’s black Honda was found Monday in north Snohomish County and impounded as potential evidence.
