This year’s presidential election gives us a choice between two very unpopular candidates. On the one hand, there is Donald Trump with his bombastic comments and questionable character. On the other hand, there is Hilary Clinton, a proven liar involved in one scandal after another, including her e-mail misuse and the influence peddling, corrupt Clinton Foundation with her husband, Bill. She all but admits that she represents another four years of the Obama administration.
The horrific shootings in Orlando give us a glimpse into the future if we don’t have strong leadership leading our nation and the world. Pure evil exists in this world and it needs to be acknowledged, identified, confronted and destroyed. It can’t be negotiated with or “contained.”
In spite of the “spin” coming out of the current administration, our economy is stagnant and millions of people (especially young people) cannot find good jobs. Our educational system is failing our children no matter how much money we throw at it because the teachers unions are more interested in protecting bad teachers than educating our children. The breakdown of the family and the incredible violence in the inner cities (look at Obama’s hometown of Chicago) is destroying our nation from within.
Yes, we have a difficult decision to make as we cast our ballots this November. We need to study the candidates and the issues and do everything in our power to vote considering our nation’s future and the futures of generations to come.
