Air China to order 20 Boeing 737s

Air China has agreed to buy 20 Boeing Co. 737 jets, the company said today.

The airline confimed the agreement with Boeing in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange. The deal is worth roughly $1.4 billion at list prices, but Air China said Boeing gave it “significant price concessions.”

Boeing is to deliver the 737-800 jets to Air China between 2013 and 2015.
