A Boeing spokeswoman confirmed that delivery will take place next week in this Post and Courier report.
Boeing will deliver the 787s at its North Charleston, S.C. site. Already, the site has two Everett-built 787s waiting there for Air India as well as the first 787 assembled in North Charleston.
Air India initially was to get its first 787 in May, but months of squabbling over compensation, a pilot’s strike and bureaucracy within the Indian government have led to delays.
