Sailing Ship Hawaiian Chieftain: The Hawaiian Chieftain is continuing a summer tour of north Puget Sound ports and will make a two-day stop in Everett Aug. 14 and 15 at Anthony’s Homeport restaurant, 1726 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. The ship will open for walk-on tours 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 15. Crew members in period costume will explain the Chieftain’s mission. A ticket is not required for the tours, although a $3 donation per person is appreciated.

Seattle Center Festal: BrasilFest: noon to 5 p.m., Aug. 5, at Seattle Center Armory/Center House and Mural Amphitheatre, 305 Harrison St., Seattle. Visitors explore the culture of Brazil and experience Carnaval, march in a parade, see giant puppets, dance and sing; BrasilFest will exhibit two 18-foot tall dolls at the Armory. “Tales from the Woods: Book II, The Witch’s Curse”: Everett Community College presents this play of fairy tale magic with live actors and puppets telling the tale of Little Red’s quest for revenge against the wolf and the epic battle that ensues; all performances are at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6, 8 and 9 at Legion Memorial Park, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett; Aug. 7, 16 and 18 at EvCC next to Jackson Center, 2000 Tower St., Everett and Aug. 12, 14 and 15. at Forest Park’s outdoor stage, 800 E Mukilteo Blvd., Everett.
