SEATTLE — A 20-year-old Algona man has pleaded guilty in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend’s 13-year-old brother in the town of Pacific.
Brandon James Suhr pleaded guilty to first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and first-degree burglary with a deadly weapon in King County Superior Court on Monday.
The Seattle Times said that prosecutors plan to seek a 30-year prison term when Suhr is sentenced for the June 2012 death of Wally Denesha.
According to police, Suhr broke into his 16-year-old girl’s apartment, entered a bedroom and stabbed the boy with a knife. Police said the girl told them Suhr threatened and choked her and made her leave the apartment with him.
Police later found Denesha’s body in a closet.
