PUYALLUP — Prosecutors have filed a theft charge against a man accused of arming himself with a chain saw to steal about $2,600 worth of medical marijuana from a Puyallup dispensary.
The News Tribune reported that an employee at Power Plant Health ran out the back when he saw the chain saw blade coming through the door on March 23. When the dispensary owner looked at surveillance footage from the break-in, he reportedly recognized the intruder as a former client.
The owner called 911 on March 27 to say the same chain saw-wielding man was walking toward the dispensary. This time the owner blocked the man from leaving until deputies arrived.
