REDMOND — A decomposed body has been found in a pond in Redmond.
Police say the body spotted Sunday morning in the pond in Dudley Carter Park by a jogger has been turned over to the King County Medical Examiner.
Redmond Police spokeswoman Becky Range told the Seattle Times that the body is likely that of an adult but is too decomposed to immediately determine the gender.
Range said the body was in the water for some time.
Range said the area is heavily overgrown but the autumn thinning of foliage possibly made the body visible.
