EVERETT — A house fire near Everett displaced three people Saturday morning, fire officials said.
Around 1:50 a.m. dispatchers received multiple 911 calls reporting the fire in the 100 block of 105th St. SE, south of Everett.
The house was in flames when firefighters arrived. It took 30 firefighters from South County Fire and Everett Fire Department about an hour to get the fire under control.
Firefighters evaluated a man for smoke inhalation who was home at the time of the fire. Two more people lived at the house but were at work. No other injuries were reported.
The fire caused an estimated $350,000 damage, said South County Fire spokesperson Leslie Hynes.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s office was investigating Saturday, “but it appears to be an accidental fire,” Hynes said.
The Red Cross and Support 7 assisted the displaced residents.
