EDMONDS — All it takes is a digital camera and a little creativity.
The Rotary Club of Edmonds is sponsoring its annual digital photo contest Sept. 28. People are given six topics on that Saturday and asked to take one picture for each topic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participants then submit their entries by email or SD card. The photos don’t need to be printed out, and digital manipulation is not allowed.
Headquarters for the event will be at the offices of RBC Wealth Management, 303 Fifth Ave. S., in downtown Edmonds.
There is a $30 entry fee, and prizes will be awarded for the best interpretation of each topic. Profits go to the community service projects of the Rotary Club of Edmonds.
Last year, the best-in-show winner was Andrea Stone of Edmonds, who photographed a pair of feet rocking backward on a sandy beach in town.
