Jehovah’s Witnesses convention: Hundreds of Jehovah’s Witnesses from the Everett area will be among the estimated 22,000 attending three conventions at the Tacoma Dome, this weekend and again July 12-14 and 19-21. All are invited. There is no admission and no collection will be taken. Events include a talk on “What Is Truth?,” drama and baptisms. Local Everett halls — at 2530 Harrison Ave., 11422 Airport Road, and 1730 Madison Ave. — hold Bible study classes at 7:30 a.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sundays for those seeking to learn more or get involved. Women’s luncheon: The next Mill Creek Christian Women’s Connection luncheon will be 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 11 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, 20610 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Cost is $22. Garage sale: Zion Lutheran Church, 330 Union Ave. in Snohomish, will hold a garage sale, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. July 12-13. There will be a lot of furniture available. Proceeds from the sale will help a family reroof their house.

Riverside Ecclesia Festival: 12:30-6 p.m. July 13 on Jetty Island in Everett. The faith festival organized by Grapevine Ecclesia, a downtown Everett church, includes a family picnic, live music, swimming and volleyball, covenant ceremonies, baptisms and more. A pedestrian ferry runs from the 10th Street Marina boat launch on the waterfront; reservations or early arrival are recommended. Parking at the boat launch is $3. VBS, South Everett: South Everett Community Church, 1 W. Lutherwood Day Camp: Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church hosts Lutherwood Day Camp July 15-19. A week of songs, games, crafts and team-building activities, the day camp will be led by trained staff from Camp Lutherwood on Lake Samish. Kids ages 6-11 are invited. Camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-noon Friday. Lunch and snacks provided. Cost is $50, or $45 each if two or more siblings are enrolled. The church is at 615 E. Meetings, classes

Torah studies: A new series starts July 10. “Making Dreams Come True: How Actions Influence G-d’s Decisions” is the topic of the next class, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. GriefShare: Mountain View Presbyterian Church offers a summer session of its GriefShare support group, 6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 5. Sharing the Caring: Spiritual support group meets at 6 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, 5115 100th St. NE in Marysville. Spiritual support to families caring for disabled loved ones at home. A safe place where people can share their frustrations freely without judgment and receive encouragement and support. Salt of the Earth soup kitchen: Noon Tuesdays at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Free sack lunches or hot meals served to the homeless, low-income seniors and families, and kids on the street. Volunteers needed to help cook, set up, serve and clean up.
