EVERETT — The Charles & Idalia Fratt House in Northwest Everett has been accepted onto the National Register of Historic Places.
The 1905 home at 1725 Grand Avenue was built by the prominent banker and timber magnate Charles Fratt. Former Washington Gov. and U.S. Sen. Monrad Wallgren also lived in the house in the 1940s.
The current owners, Walt Gillette and Saundra Cope, bought the house in 1998 and renovated it. It’s been recognized by the Everett Historical Commission with a William F. Brown Award. The house is also listed on the Everett and state historic registers.
