The Snohomish County Court Appointed Special Advocate program partnered with local businesses, community organizations and individuals throughout Snohomish County to ensure all children represented by special advocates received gifts during the holiday season.
Giving Tree supporters included the Edmonds Rotary, Eclipse Marketing, Stonewood Floors Inc., Wolfe Fire Protection, Wolfe Plumbing, Harbor Square Athletic Club, WSU Extension Center, The Split End Salon, Crucible Brewing, Camp Fire of Snohomish County and many Snohomish County employees.
With a new year underway, volunteers are needed for the program. Adults age 21 and older can serve as advocates for children in foster care and youth beings served in the juvenile court system. An application, interview and training are required.
