LAKE STEVENS — An electrical fire in a Lake Stevens home displaced seven people Thursday morning, including four children, fire officials said.
Around 2:30 a.m., firefighters responded to the fire in the 2000 block of 112th Drive NE, Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue spokesperson Peter Mongillo said. The residents were able to escape the flames before units arrived.
Firefighters quickly contained the fire, Mongillo said. No injuries were reported.
Investigators believe it started as an electrical fire that spread to a plastic carport outside the home, Mongillo said. The flames then spread to the rest of the house.
Three adults and four children were displaced. The cost of the damage had not been determined.
