Lake Stevens man dies in crash on Mountain Loop Highway

The 22-year-old’s car crashed east of Granite Falls. A passenger in the car was not injured.

GRANITE FALLS — A 22-year-old man from Lake Stevens died while driving in north Snohomish County on Sunday.

The man’s car crashed around 1:15 a.m. on Mountain Loop Highway, east of Granite Falls. A passenger in the car was not injured, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives are investigating the cause of the crash.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner is expected to identify the Lake Stevens man.
