Kate Neumeister, of the Alderwood Boys and Girls Club, was named the Snohomish County 2017 Youth of the Year at an awards dinner held Jan. 25 at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo.
She was selected from 17 nominees from among the 22 Boys and Girls Clubs in Snohomish County. Boys and Girls Clubs of Snohomish County awarded a total of $7,500 in scholarships to the participants, as well as fitness trackers. The evening was made possible by sponsor Coastal Community Bank.
