EVERETT — No one was reported injured in a Wednesday morning collision between an Everett police patrol car and another vehicle.
Around 9:15 a.m., the patrol car had its emergency lights on as it crossed an intersection on northbound Fifth Avenue W. in Everett, said Sgt. Robert Goetz, spokesman for Everett police. The officer in the car was crossing against a red light and responding to another officer’s call for assistance.
A driver going eastbound didn’t see the patrol car and struck it, Goetz said. Both vehicles were damaged. The accident was under investigation Wednesday afternoon.
